Italian Calzone

  • 1 Delicious Orchards frozen pizza dough
  • 1 cup cheese, mozzarella
  • 1/8 lb. salame
  • 1/4 lb. ham
  • 1/8 lb. pepperoni
  • 3 TBS melted butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 3 TBS dried oregano

Defrost pizza dough.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Roll out defrosted dough and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In the center of the dough, place the cheese and meats.

From the edge of the filling to the outer edge, cut one-inch strips down the long side of the dough.

To braid the bread, beginning with the strips in the top corner on each side of the filling, lay them over the filling and crisscrossing over each other to the bottom, tucking the last braid under.

Brush the braided dough with melted butter, and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. If necessary, cook longer.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and oregano flakes, cut and enjoy.
