Maryland Crab Cakes

Maryland Crab Cakes
  • 1 lb. crab meat
  • 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 TBS mayonnaise
  • 1 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 TBS chopped parley
  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 TBS vegetable oil
  • 1 TBS butter

Mix the crab meat, bread crumbs, milk, egg, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, Dijon mustard, parsley, green onions, salt and pepper in a bowl. Divide mixture into 4 patties and set aside.

In a frying pan, heat the oil and melt the butter. Then, place one patty in the pan and fry until golden brown on both sides, 2 to 4 minutes per side.
