Apple Crisp
- 7 or 8 baking apples
- Juice from 1 lemon
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oatmeal(optional)
Slice baking apples and put in a 7x7 inch butter pan.
Sprinkle with the juice of 1 lemon.
Rub together to form a crum texture; flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter.
Sprinkle chopped oatmeal on top if desired.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until apples are soft.
Makes 2 to 4 servings
