What’s better than a crispy piece of fried chicken that was made by somebody else? (*Disclaimer: Depending on who you ask in my household, the answers vary!)
Easy delicious Apple Cider Grilling Sauce drumsticks made in the comfort of your own kitchen!
I’m serious. They are so easy and after baking in the oven for about 1 hour, you’ve got a tray full of crispy chicken drumsticks that rival any fast food joint. And the best part is, since they’re not deep fried in anything, you still have room for dessert afterwards!
I saw this marinade on the shelves of Delicious Orchards on one of those hot October days. You know, after I had already switched the summer clothes out and was embracing fall and everything apple. It’s a sweet and sour type glaze that is full of flavor.
- Just marinade the drumsticks in American Spoon Apple Cider Grilling Sauce (found at Delicious Orchards), anywhere from 10 minutes to overnight.
- Heat the oven to 400° F.
- Place on a cooking tray (I sprayed with some non-stick spray or use parchment paper & butter/olive oil.)
- Put in the oven and cook for about 45 minutes. Turn the chicken and cook for about 15 minutes more. (The FDA states poultry should cook to 165° F. Do yourself a favor and buy a meat thermometer.)
- Pair with your vegetable sides of choice: potatoes, broccoli, green beans, salad…
It was so delicious that by the time I remembered to take a photo, the chicken was looooong gone!
