Creamy Loaded Salsa Dip

Ingredients

  • 4oz cream cheese, whipped or softened
  • 4oz sour cream
  • 1 cup D.O. homemade salsa
  • 2 cups D.O. homemade pico
  • 2 cups Wisconsin cheddar cheese – shredded
  • 1/4 cup scallions – sliced thin
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 ears of corn – kernels sliced from cob

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese at room temperature for about 30 minutes or use whipped cream cheese.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and sour cream with salsa until smooth.
  3. Fold in pico, shredded cheddar cheese, corn, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and scallions.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  5. Serve chilled with tortilla chips.
