Pork Chops with Apple Chutney Using a Slow Cooker

  • 4 center-cut bone-in pork chops 1-inch thick (about 2 lbs.), trimmed
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 TBS packed brown sugar
  • 2 TBS Delicious Orchards Apple Cider
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 4 granny smith (or any apple you prefer), peeled, pitted and cut into 2-inch chunks
  • Cooking spray

Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper and place in slow cooker. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, Delicious Orchards Apple Cider, ginger, cinnamon, cayenne pepper and cranberries. Pour evenly over pork in slow cooker; top with apples. Cover; cook on low heat setting for 4 hours.
