Tri Color Melon Salad with Yogurt Honey Dressing


  • 1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1TBS Grand Marnier Liqueur
  • 2TBS fresh basil, cut
  • Fresh basil leaves, whole
  • 1/2 ripe orange flesh honeydew, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/2 ripe crenshaw melon, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/4 seedless sugar baby or seeded watermelon, cut into 1 inch cubes


In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, honey, liqueur and the basil. Set aside. Combine cubed melons in a bowl and toss. You can either leave them in the bowl or place the mixture on a large platter. Then, drizzle the dressing back and forth across the melon in a thin stream. Garnish with the whole fresh basil leaves and serve.
