Peach and Blueberry Dessert


  • 3 1/2 cups peaches, peeled, sliced and divided
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries, divided
  • 1/4 cup apple cider
  • 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 cups vanilla ice cream


In a saucepan, combine peaches, blueberries, apple juice and nutmeg. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a low boil and cook for 2 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining peaches and blueberries cover and chill. Spoon into individual dishes and top with ice cream.
